TRAVIS UNRUH– PRESIDENT

Travis serves as the President of Fusion and the Manager of  National teams. He was a multisport athlete growing up playing football and wrestling into his high school years at Providence High School in Clarksville Indiana. After high school, he attended Purdue University West Lafayette and earned a B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management in 2000 and today he is the President of MAC Construction in New Albany, Indiana. Travis’s passion for both sports and developing youth has led him into coaching softball, football and baseball.

CAMMIE UNRUH– CEO

Cammie serves as the CEO of Fusion. Cammie grew up in Louisville playing high-level travel softball and graduated from Assumption High School. After high school, Cammie attended Spalding University and graduated with a degree in Nursing. Her passion and dedication to the sport and team development is overwhelmingly evident in her mentoring of the athletes.

LISA PINKSTON-VICE PRESIDENT

Lisa Pinkston has been involved in the Fusion organization since 2016 as a mentor, Advisor, Board Member, VP, 18U Premier Head Coach, 16U Premier Head coach and 18U Premier team Manager. Coach Pinkston is a well-respected coach known and recognized throughout the Travel Softball and High School circuits with connections at the collegiate level. She is dedicated to developing each athlete to their full potential with the opportunity to compete at top showcases and tournaments throughout the region with maximum college coach exposure to obtain their goal of playing softball at the next level.

RYAN GREENWOOD-NATIONAL DIRECTOR

Ryan joined Fusion in the fall of 2020.  He is the National Director and coaches the 18U National team.

Before joining Fusion, Ryan was with the Birmingham Thunderbolts organization for eleven years helping develop young athletes from around the country to compete on a national level and prepare them for their future as collegiate student-athletes. With over seventeen years of coaching and recruiting in travel softball, he has watched players continue to the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, Sunbelt, SoConn, Conference USA, and SWAC with some of those players excelling and achieving All-Conference honors, post season awards and setting school records.

During his time with the Thunderbolts, his teams won the Triple Crown Sparkler, won the Atlanta Legacy, and finished in 3rd place at PGF Nationals. He also assisted with player development, college recruiting, scheduling, event management, game time strategies, scouting, strength & conditioning, softball camps, and provided assistance to other organizational aspects. Before working with the Thunderbolts, he served the Oak Mountain community on the board of directors for Oak Mountain High School boosters and OMYBS for the youth league where he coached softball and basketball.

NATE GIBSON-PREMIER DIRECTOR

Nate is the Fusion Premier Director as well has the Manager of the 18 Premier team.  Coach Gibson joined Fusion in 2017 as the Head Coach of Fusion’s first 18U Premier Team where 14 athletes from this team went on to play softball at the collegiate level.  In 2019 he transitioned to 14U to build a new additional Fusion 06 team.  Coach Gibson has been an integral part in the growth of the Fusion program.  As the Premier Director Nate will use his knowledge of the sport to steward and develop Fusion’s existing teams and players as well as bring new talent to the Fusion organization.

JENNIFER HUNT-DEVELOPMENTAL DIRECTOR

Jennifer played at the collegiate level at Bellarmine University.  As a catcher, she earned ALL GLVC and ALL GLIAC Regional honors.  After graduation she was instrumental in starting the fastpitch training program at Champions Academy helping young players transition from slow pitch to fastpitch as it switched over in Kentucky.  She also immediately went into coaching at the high school level.  Through her coaching career at the high school level form 2003-2015, her staff was a 5 time KSCA coaching staff of the year for the 7th region and a 6 time7th region All Metro Coaches Association coaching staff of the year.  After taking a few years off to raise her daughters, she moved into the travel ball ranks at the 18u level.  There they placed 5th in the TCS Summer Nationals in their first year.  She then teamed up with Lisa Pinkston and the Indiana Fusion Elite to take a first year 16u team.  In her first year with the team, they were Co-Champions of the Atlanta Legacy and Co National Champions of the Triple Crown East Coast Summer Nationals out of 89 teams!  In 2023, her first time completing at PGF Nationals in CA she won the 16U Platinum Championship! She has a large network of coaching connections that feeds her passion to get her players recruited and fully prepared for the next level.  They put a strong emphasis on player development.  She has coached any athletes into all divisions including the professional level in the NPF.  Hitting is her passion!  She has been a hitting instructor for over 20 years.

LESELY ANDRES-FINANCIAL ADVISER

Lesley joined Fusion 2014 as the program’s Financial Adviser and Board member.  She is a CPA with experience in numerous fields of business and serves on various Financial Boards in the community.   Lesley brings her financial expertise to the program overseeing the financials and maintaining the budgets.  She has 2 children very active in middle school and high school sports which she is the team parent assisting the coaching staff.  Lesley is passionate about the mission of the program to develop youth to their full potential and giving them opportunities to follow their dreams.

CHRISTY CONRAD-ADMINISTRATOR

Christy is the Administrator for the program.  She joined the Fusion’s Board in 2015.  She values Fusion’s mission to promote the development of the youth thru sports to teach discipline, teamwork, leadership skills and becoming successful members of the community.  She grew up in the Southern Indiana playing sports throughout her childhood and into high school.  Christy is the mother of 2 children that were very active in sports where she served as Team Parent assisting the coaching staff. Her organizational skills and dedication to the program has been a key part in the seamless growth of the program in just a few short years.

MARLEY SCHMIDT-MARKETING

Marley Schmidt manages social media and marketing for the Fusion Program.  She joined the IFE 04 Unruh Coaching Staff in 2017 and the Fusion Board of Directors in 2018. Marley played travel softball growing up and at Jeffersonville High School. After graduation, she continued to play at the collegiate level at Harding University in Arkansas and Bellarmine University. Marley graduated in 2017 from Bellarmine University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and Sports Performance. She brings her expertise in speed, agility, strength training as well as arm health management to the team.
