CARMYN GREENWOOD– FUSION 18U NATIONAL UNRUH/GREENWOOD ASSISTANT COACH

Carmyn joined Fusion in the summer of 2021 as the Assistant Coach of the 18U Premier Unruh/Greenwood team. In the fall of 2021, she was named Assistant Coach of the 18U National Unruh/Greenwood team. Carmyn is from the Birmingham, Alabama area and attended Oak Mountain High School.  She went to Auburn University where she played softball (2016-2019) but redshirted as a sophomore due to shoulder surgery.  She then transferred to the University of Louisville (2019-Present) and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Marketing. She is currently working on a graduate certificate in Business Franchising.  During her tenure at Auburn, she started 24 games as a freshman and played in the super regionals.  While at Louisville, in 2021 she earned NFCA All-Southeast Region first team, All-ACC second team, and ACC All-Academic Team. She was also the ACC Offensive Player of the Week once and chosen as the Louisville Student Athlete of the Week twice during the 2021 season.
